One Last Rose|Photoshoot

One Last Rose.png

Well, hello there, readers!

I’m baa-aack! It’s so nice to be back in the dolly blogoverse.

Someone else is back, too-back to normal, that is. Michelle has recovered from her, ah, shall we say, injuries, and (in my opinion) is more gorgeous than ever.

After rewigging, repainting, and an eye swap, she’s ready to reappear on the blog.

I kept her cute little freckles, but she now has more visible blush and glossy lips.

I’m beyond pleased with the result.

*dramatic fanfare*

In choosing her hair and eye colors, I inadvertently made her look very similar to TM #68, but that’s okay. Her freckles and eyebrows make her slightly different.

These pictures were partially inspired by JustAG, who did a photoshoot of the same name. Hers didn’t have any actual roses, but it certainly inspired me to make use of some!

This looks like it was badly edited, but it was just my camera on a wonky setting. Oh, well.

A full-length photo to show off her dress. Not my best work…

Oh, by the way, I nearly forgot-The American Girl Spot now has an Instagram! Check it out

What have your dolls been doing while I was gone?

    1. Thank you so much! My main tips fro rewigging dolls is secure the hair in a ponytail to keep from glueing strands of hair together! Isabelle is so pretty, though, maybe you should just get her a new head 🙂 Ooooh, how fun! I actually just auditioned at my school today, and I’m hoping to be a party child this year. I was a polichinelle the last two years, but I guess if I get it again we can be buddies! XD

  1. Honestly, I’m hiring you to be my photographer friend. No one likes to take photos in my family and these are stunninggg. And dangg that silky hair though! Is it weird to say I’m jealous of a doll?

    1. Thank you so much! Hmmm…outdoor photography tips:
-Try not to get too much direct sunlight on the doll in the pictures
-Make sure you use the zoom lens on your camera so your picture is focused
-And, of course, make sure the doll has her hair done and her clothes neat 🙂
