Printable Doll Halloween Bags

Hello, there, readers!

Some of you may know that I have a slight obsession with printables (also lollipops and the number 5, but that’s a story for my other blog), and I tried my hand making them last April in my Printable Doll Easter Baskets post. I got a lot of positive feedback on them, in fact several people even sent me pictures of the ones they had made. I loved making those baskets, and so now that Halloween is approaching, I saw an opportunity to have fun making more printables and write a post longer than 6 sentences. A win-win! So let’s get started.

I find it really funny that Alex is totally hamming for the camera and Ella is just like ”Can I have some?”

Halloween is rolling around, and if you’re like my dolls, candy is at the center of it all (in addition to having an excuse to wear cat ears for the entire month of October). I’ve collected candy in everything from a pillowcase to one of those plastic jack-o-lanterns, but I found a large grocery bag with handles to be the best. Inspired by that bag, and playing around with some origami techniques, I made an easy but definitely adorable bag template for your dolls to safely lug their loot around in.

There are five different patterns for you to choose from, or if you’re feeling creative, you can get out your markers or colored pencils and decorate the blank template.  To print, right click the image, hit save, and then print.

To assemble the bags, just cut out, fold on the lines, and glue or tape as desired. For the handles, cut out the long skinny rectangle, fold in half width wise, cut in half length wise, and attach as shown

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Alex and Ella are an angel/devil duo, what my friend and I were last year.

I think we’d best let these two trick-or-treaters get started. They’ve got a busy night ahead of them!

Off they go to sugar heaven (or hell, depends on how you look at it, lol)!

If you made this craft, I’d love to see! Email it to me at

What’s your (or your doll’s!) favorite kind of candy?
